serve lunch and assist with clean up at this fun
event for senior citizens.

Holiday Decorating at the Petersen House Museum
(3-4 volunteers)

Need a boost to get in the holiday spirit? Come
help decorate an 1892 farmhouse for a Danish
Christmas celebration. Volunteers will help move
furniture, assemble Christmas trees, decorate the
trees and the House for a month-long celebration.
Holiday Tea Party for Seniors (6-8 volunteers)
Friday, December 4, 12 noon to 3 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help set-up, decorate,
serve food and assist with clean up at this fun
holiday event for senior citizens.
Petersen House Danish Christmas Celebration (3-4
volunteers) -- filled
Sunday, December 6, 12 noon to 3 p.m.
The historic Petersen House is decorated for the
holidays in the tradition of its former occupants!
Volunteers will greet visitors to the Petersen
House, serve refreshments, monitor crowd levels and
help as needed.
Winter Wonderland (30+ volunteers)
Friday, December 11, 2 or 3 to 4 pm for set-up, 3:30
to 7 pm carnival
Volunteers are needed to help decorate and/or run carnival games and
activities at this holiday event for the community.

Tree of Lights Reception (4 volunteers)
Sunday, December 13, 2:30 to 5:30 pm
The Tree of Lights program is a fundraiser for the
Tempe History Museum. Lights and ornaments are
purchased to honor or memorialize someone. Donors are recognized
at this reception and receive their recognition
ornament. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and
serve refreshments and to retrieve ornaments from
the trees.
Library Book Move
Monday, December 14 through Sunday, 20, anytime
during library hours
The newly renovated children's library is almost
ready!! The walls are painted, the carpet is in, but
the books need to be put back in place! If you have
some time to spare, the library can sure use your
help during this week!
