Tempe
Find out how
you can be a part of history when the Tempe History Museum reopens after its
year-long renovation on February 27. Especially needed will be volunteers to
act as History Interpreters. These volunteers will help make the new exhibit
hall come alive for visitors by explaining its new interactive technology
and other features; shifts are available seven days a week. Other volunteer
titles include archivist, oral historian, cataloger, data entry aide,
research librarian, retail assistant, office assistant and more; shifts are
available weekdays between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. No experience is needed and
training is provided.
The Museum
is a community history museum that tells the story of Tempe as a diverse,
dynamic Southwestern community. As a community history museum, community
volunteers play an important role both in the exhibit hall and behind the
scenes. Find out how you can be a part of the "new" museum! Questions? Call
480-350-5190 or 480-350-5111.
