Completing Court-ordered Community Service

Court-ordered community service must be completed at a 501(c)3 non-profit agency. Any work done with such an agency must also be supervised in order to be documented. Non-profit agencies include schools, libraries, charity dining rooms, food banks, women's shelters, animal shelters, etc.

Not all non-profit agencies will accept service from individuals with court-ordered community service. You will need to call the agency, ask to speak to their volunteer coordinator, and ask that person if they work with individuals with court-ordered community service.

Some suggested agencies are as follows: (There is no guarantee that any of the agencies listed will accept individuals with court-ordered community service or have current openings.)
