Bus service in Tempe operates seven days a week from approximately 4:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., Monday through Saturday and from 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. Most Tempe bus routes operate every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bus service is also available on all major holidays with service following Sunday schedules.  Regular fare is $1.25 for one ride.  Discount fare is available for people 65 and older, people with disabilities and people 6 to 18. (fare info.) All Tempe buses are wheelchair accessible. In addition, Tempe is a bicycle friendly community with more than 165 miles of bikeways. All buses are equipped with bike racks, and most major destinations in Tempe provide convenient bicycle parking.
