Patricia "Pat" Hatton

Hatton Hall, dedicated in 1993, was named to recognize and honor the legacy of Patricia "Pat" Hatton.

As the third woman to serve on the Tempe City Council, during 16 of Tempe’s most transforming years, Pat served to break ground and open doors. From being Vice Mayor to chairing the variety of City Council committees, she left a lasting mark on Tempe government, delivery of services and public policy.   Her community resume is just as impressive and by no means exhaustive, volunteering for Tempe Community Council, United Food Bank, Desert Samaritan Hospital, League of Woman Voters, Tempe Sister Cities, Tempe Garden Club, Tempe Leadership, MAG Human Services Committee, Kiwanis Club of Tempe and East Valley Partnership.   Pat embodies the humanitarian's calling and appropriately received the Don Carlos Humanitarian Award in 1994.
