Hatton Hall

This building is for use by public government entities, private non-profit groups and philanthropic organizations and for rent by private citizens of Tempe.

The Hatton Hall Community building located at 34 E. 7th Street in Tempe was completed in the spring of 1993 as part of the project to restore the residence of former Arizona Governor Benjamin B. Moeur.  Hatton Hall was named to recognize and honor the legacy of Patricia A. Hatton (Pat).  As the third woman to serve on the Tempe City Council and a volunteer for many humanitarian organizations Pat left a lasting mark on Tempe government, the delivery of services, and public policy.  Pat continues to be dedicated to the Tempe community.

The project was made possible by a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Federal Community Development Block Grant supplemented with City funds and professional services.  The funding sources restrict its use to public government entities, private non-profit agencies, and philanthropic organizations.  The 1300 square-foot meeting facility is available to citizens for private events.  Citizens can rent Hatton Hall for a fee of $250.00 for five hours, plus $50.00 for each additional hour.  Other fees and deposits may apply.  For-profit businesses may not use the facility.

Hatton Hall has a maximum capacity of 53 persons.  Larger groups may use the charming yard for overflow.  Those using Hatton Hall must obtain their own liquor license by calling the City of Tempe at 480-350-5180.  More information is available at the City of Tempe website.

For further information or to reserve or rent the facility call (480) 858-2300.
