The City of Tempe is committed to assure the quality of storm water discharges from our municipal storm sewer system is managed to the maximum extent practicable. We have developed a Storm Water Management Plan designed to meet this commitment. The Storm Water Management Plan incorporates storm water monitoring, public education, and a variety of best management practices.

These components are integrated to allow us to assess the quality of storm water and identify areas where storm water quality can be improved. Improvement to storm water quality can be made through implementing management practices to control potential sources of pollution along with raising public awareness on proper use and disposal of products such as motor oil, antifreeze and pesticides.  To report a concern, telephone (480) 350-2678 or complete a complaint form.
