Tempe offers single stream recycling which allows you to put all recyclable
items into one container. If you receive City of Tempe commercial trash
service there is no charge for the collection of recyclables. Tempe
accepts aluminum, cardboard, glass, paper. We accept rigid plastic recyclables with the recycling symbol from 1 to 7.
To ensure the success of the recycling and reduce contamination we
provide informational materials and assistance to develop your recycling

Tempe does not accept the following items in its municipal recycling program: Non-recyclables List
Recycling is collected once a week and the container must be out at
the designated location by 6:00 A.M. on collection day. To
