Retirees of Tempe Association
(RTA)

 

The Retirees of Tempe Association is an organization sponsored by the City of Tempe Parks and Recreation Department. Monthly programs, special events, workshops, and services keep retirees active. The focus of the RTA is to organize activities that enhance the quality of life for people 50 years of age and better.

RTA members get special discounts on lunches and other events and activities at Pyle and Cahill Senior Center. New activities are always forming. Any RTA member is welcome to attend the RTA Advisory Committee meetings, held the second Monday of each month at 10 am at Pyle Adult Recreation Center (PARC).

The Roadrunner Chronicle is a monthly newsletter containing all information on RTA activities.

Annual membership dues:  $4.00 (January – December)
Roadrunner subscription for mail delivery: $7.00/yr (RTA members only)

  Needlewielders meet Tuesdays at North Tempe Multi-Gen Center 9:00 am – 1:00 pm  
  Needlewielders meet Thursdays at Pyle Adult Center 9:00 am – 1:00 pm  
  Senior Songbirds meet Wednesdays 9:00 am  
  Kitchen Band meets Thursdays 9:00 am  
  Movie every Tuesday 12:30 pm  
  Painting Workshop every Wednesday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm  
  Mah Jong every Thursday 12:30 pm  
  Bingo every Wednesday 1:00 pm  
  Current Events Discussion Group every Thursday 11:30 am  
  Various Card groups throughout the week times vary  
  Cooking Classes varies
