Volunteer Opportunities -
Tempe Police Pipe Band
The
Tempe Police Pipe Band is the ceremonial color guard for the City of Tempe and
the Tempe Police Department. We represent the City of Tempe, the Tempe Police Department and its
officers, as well as all Arizona law enforcement personnel, at memorial
services, parades and public performances throughout Arizona and the Southwest.
The band meets every Monday night from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. at the Tempe Police
Apache Substation, at 1855 E. Apache Blvd. in Tempe.
Requirements
Any experienced piper, drummer or Highland dancer over the
age of 13 is invited to apply. Beginners and intermediate students who are
serious about becoming proficient are also welcome. To apply, contact Volunteer Coordinator
