Tempe Police - Psychological Evaluation

If you successfully complete the Background Investigation and are among the top candidates, you will be scheduled for a Psychological Evaluation.  This phase consists of a battery of written tests followed by a face-to-face interview with a licensed psychologist.  The purpose of this part of the process is to ensure that there are no psychological issues that would prevent you from success in a law enforcement career. Prior to the psychological appointment an applicant may be given a conditional offer of employment,  contingent on successful completion of all remaining phases of the hiring process.
