Goodyear Woman Arrested After Trespassing Incident

On October 3, 2009 at approximately 3:30 AM, Racell K. Thompson, 24, was placed under arrest in the 900 block of S. Lola, Tempe after investigation revealed that she unlawfully entered a residence in the area and became disorderly.

At approximately 3:15 AM, Racell rang the door bell of a residence in the area of 900 S Lola, Ln.  A male answered the door and Racell said she needed help.  The male questioned Racell as to what she needed help with.  Racell was not making sense and the male informed investigating officers that Racell appeared to be very intoxicated.

All of a sudden, Racell struck the male subject and made her way into the residence through the open front door.  Racell was told to leave the home, but paid no attention to those instructions.

Racell ransacked the inside of the home, tossing a stack of magazines, flipping over a table, and tumbling over the back of a couch.

Racell was detained by the investigating officers as they arrived on scene.  Racell resisted being placed in the back of a patrol car.  Racell kicked at the plexiglass divider in the rear of the patrol car causing it to crack.

Racell was charged with First Degree Trespassing (A class six felony), Assault (A class one misdemeanor), Criminal Damage (A class one misdemeanor), and Disorderly Conduct (A class one misdemeanor).  Racell was booked into Tempe City Jail where she was held to see a judge.
