Built in 2005, the Tempe Sports Complex includes ball fields, soccer fields, a dog park and a 30,000 square foot skatepark with two bowls and multiple "street style" ramps.

In 2001, the ball fields were renamed "Dawson Fields" in honor of Duane Dawson, former Parks and Recreation Manager.
