Workshop Topics
Four workshop topics will be offered each repeating twice.  All attendees are encouraged to select two of the four workshops noted below: 

Almost Easy Money, The Maryanne Corder Neighborhood Grant Program – Attend a workshop highlighting examples of previous grants and learn more about how to apply for a neighborhood grant.

Upward and Onward, A Look at Tempe’s Future – Get information on Downtown redevelopment and how it impacts and affects not only the neighborhoods adjacent to downtown, but everyone in Tempe.

A Greener Tempe, Leading the Way to Environmental Excellence – Learn about Tempe’s plans for solar, recycling, water conservation, promoting public transportation, park re-development, etc.  Find out about what energy saving homeowner programs Salt River Project and Arizona Public Service offer.

Reaching Over The Wall, How To Strengthen Your Neighborhood- Hear about ways to build community and strengthen neighborhoods from experts in the field as well as neighborhood leaders.

Select two of the four workshops listed and contact Neighborhood Services to RSVP at 480-350-8234 or neighborhoods@tempe.gov.  Please leave your full name, the name of your association if applicable and your two topic choices. This is a free event.  Deadline to RSVP is Wednesday, April 2, 2008.
