This building, although not yet fifty years old, is significant for its unique architectural design. It is associated with the transition to a new type of banking for the new motor age. The exaggerated expression of structure is not typical for any of the buildings in the area. It provides a positive contribution along Mill Avenue within the context of 1960s shopping center, Tempe Center. This building is considered to be potentially individually eligible in the year 2010. At that time, reevaluate the building for status of integrity.
