Survey Number: HPS-177
Name: Tee Green House
Location: Demolished/formerly at 1246 E. Lemon Street
Year Built: 1929
Architectural Style:

This house appeared to have been rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in 1929. The site of the house was once part of a ranch owned in succession by W. A. Bolton, early Tempe insurance and real estate broker; Charles H. Waterhouse, president of the Arizona Cotton Growers' Association in the 1910s; and J. C. Chilson, well-known Tempe rancher.

This frame and stucco house had a steeply pitched, asphalt-shingled roof with gables at the east and west ends. A low brick wall enclosed a front patio leading to the main entry. A brick and frame addition at the east end had a shed roof at the side, with a gable added at the front. A small addition, possibly for utilities, was at the west facade. The main portion had a large double-hung window at each side of the door.
