Tempe Historic Property Survey

This property was owned by Frank J. Toepfer and Grace M. Rogers in 1946, and by Frank J. Toepfer in 1948. This home is located in the Park Tract subdivision, which was platted in August of 1924. This home is an example of later infill construction in a developed area. Many lots had remained vacant from the original subdivision plat. During upswings in the economy, these lots were built on. The result is a mix of older and newer houses in close proximity.

This building is one of many Bungalow houses scattered throughout the neighborhood. It is a modest Bungalow with few high style details. Most of the original fabric remains intact. The mature landscaping obscures portions of the building. This building contributes to the historic streetscape.
