Super Bowl XXX
On January 28, 1996, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys met at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe for Super Bowl XXX.
The Cowboys beat the Steelers, by a score of 27 to 17, winning their fifth World Championship.
Super Bowl XXX was the biggest sporting event in Arizona history. The game was televised worldwide, and seen by 750 million people.
