The Rio Salado Multi-Use Path Project extends the linear park and pathway system in the Rio Salado area from Mill Avenue to Rural Road. It provides path linkages on the south bank and other portions of the Town Lake and Rio Salado Park. The project involved creating a concrete, lighted and landscaped path facility with a public art element. The art element was designed by Laurie Lundquist. This project was completed in 1996.
