Wireless Internet Access - MacIntosh

Operating System “Tiger” Operating System “Leopard”
 
  • Turn on Airport.
  • Accept tempecafe network.
  • System Preferences (under Apple menu)
  • Click Network.
  • Click Configure.
  • Click Proxies.
  • Check both FTP, HTTP and HTTPS boxes.
  • In Web Proxy Server, insert:
    164.50.160.202 and port: 8080
  • Click Apply.
  • Open Safari.
  
  • Turn on Airport.
  • Launch System Preferences from the Apple Menu.
  • Click on the Network icon.
  • Click on the Advanced button.
  • Highlight Network Name
    (TempeCafe)
  • Click on the Proxies tab.
  • Change “Using a PAC File” to “Manual”
  • Check boxes FTP Proxy, Web Proxy (HTTP) and Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS)
  • Type in new FTP Proxy server number
  • 164.50.160.202 and new port number 8080.
  • Click OK, Click Apply.
  • Open Safari.
