- Computer Access: Public access computers are available in the
Computer Access Center that provide access to the Internet, basic Microsoft
Office programs, and electronic reference and research databases. A library
card in good standing is required to sign up for a computer. Library patrons
may use a computer twice a day, for one hour, each session.
- Printing: Printing from a library computer is available
for twenty cents per page.
- Research: Many research databases are available at library
computers and some are available for use from computers located outside the
library. Using these resources from outside the library may require you to
enter your Tempe Public Library card number.

The current issue of most magazines and newspapers we subscribe to is available
in the browsing area on the main floor. Back issues are available at the
Periodicals window in the Computer Access Center.

magazines may be checked out for 2 weeks.

walls of our library.
If you are outside the Library, you will need a Tempe Public Library

- Tempe Tribune Index:

listings for articles about Tempe from the Tempe Daily News,
Tempe Tribune, and East Valley Tribune newspapers from the years
1985-2006 in this
index that is compiled by the Library.
- Phone books from many Arizona cities are
available on the bookshelves in the Computer Access Center.
- Phone books for selected cities throughout the
United States are also available on microfiche. Talk to the staff for help with
these.

Five study rooms are available for the use of
Tempe Public Library patrons for up to two hours. The rooms are intended for
group study and may not be used for business purposes. Study Rooms "A", "B",
"C", and "D" have seating available for six. Study Room "E" will seat about
twelve. A valid Tempe Public Library card must be left at the Computer Access
Center desk while the group is using the study room. Study rooms may be reserved
one week in advance in person or by telephone at (480) 350-5533. Further policy
