STUDY ROOM POLICY

The Tempe Public Library has five group study rooms for the use of its patrons. Under no circumstances may these rooms be used for commercial or business purposes. Study Rooms "A", "B", "C", and "D" have seating available for six. Study Room "E" will seat about twelve. A valid Community Services card from the Tempe Public Library must be left at the Computer Access Center Desk while the group is using the study room. Study rooms may be reserved one week in advance in person or by telephone.

RESERVATIONS

Reservations for one of the study rooms must be made through the Computer Access Center during the library's hours of operation (350-5533). The Computer Access Center representative will need the patron's name and the number of people using the study room.

A group may reserve only one room twice a week for a maximum of two hours per day.

Study rooms are for group study. There are study carrels available for individual patrons on the main floor of the Library.

Groups are limited to two reservations per week to insure a fair distribution of rooms among library users. This may be modified upon the approval of the Computer Access Center supervisor.

Study rooms will be held 15 minutes beyond the reservation time, at which time the reservation will be cancelled.

Patrons who will not need a study room they had reserved should cancel 1 day in advance; they must give their name and the day, date and time of the reservation when canceling so that we may verify the cancellation.

WALK-INS

Patrons who have not reserved a study room in advance may use any study room that is not in use for two hours.
