Employment at the Library

There are four ways to work at Tempe Public Library:  

  1. Full time and some part time:  Apply through City of Tempe Human Resources.  Any current openings will be listed on their Jobs in Tempe page, along with information about how to apply.
  2. Part Time (Library Page):  We are always accepting applications for this part time position.  Apply at Tempe Public Library Administration, on the second floor of Tempe Public Library at 3500 S. Rural Rd, during weekday business hours.  You can also pick up an application at the Tempe Public Library Check-Out desk and at our Reference Desk any time the Library is open -- or click here to read a job description and download a copy of the application form.
  3. Connections Café - Ask in the Café if you are interested in working there.
  4. Volunteer - There are many ways to volunteer; check them out!
