You Are Invited to a Birthday Party

What's a birthday without a party? Join Tempe Town Lake for a celebration of fun on Saturday, Dec. 12, beginning at 3 p.m. Get a feel for rowing without getting wet by trying an erg rowing machine. Do some crafts with the kids. Listen to music or bring your kids to sit on Santa's lap. End the evening by watching the only boat parade in Maricopa County. All the activities are free.

3 p.m. Birthday Party Begins!

• Cake at the Lake Contest - check out a 6' Cookie replica of Tempe Town Lake by Cookies From Home and try a slice from the Valley's top resorts and restaurants

• Sample Recreation Activities -- free kayaking, basketball shoot,

• Music by Chuck E. Baby and the All Stars and a jam session by some of the best musicians to play at Town Lake

• Kids' Craft Corner -- make newspaper hats and other fun projects

• Gift Donations -- No birthday party is complete without gifts -- bring something to share with Tempe's less fortunate

• Food and Information Booths - Hot chocolate, glow in the dark fun stuff and much more!
