DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Hayden Ferry Lakeside on Town Lake
Tempe Town Lake is unlike any other property in Arizona. Nowhere else is as close to a major university, five freeways, dozens of acres of public park space and an active, urban downtown. Nowhere else is it possible to enjoy a business meeting aboard a boat or a round of golf with a colleague and be at an international airport less than 10 minutes later.

Tempe Town Lake is a partnership between the City of Tempe, its residents and private enterprise. The vision of Town Lake is predicated upon a dynamic mix of residential, business use, recreation, and cultural development.

Several opportunities exist to build condominiums, office towers, retail plazas and hotels around Town Lake. These include SouthBank, Grigio, Northshore, Onyx, Rio West, Plaza Del Rio, and Hayden Ferry Lakeside.

COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT (Office, Retail, & Hotel)

Playa del Norte Lot 6 - Aloft Hotel & Office Building
Aloft Hotel (Starwood hotel brand) is coming to Tempe Town Lake as part of the Playa del Norte Development. It will be located on the north bank of Tempe Town Lake, just east of Rural Road. This is the last developable lot of the Playa del Norte master plan. Based on a vision of the W Hotels, the Aloft Hotel is a very exciting urban hotel concept with modern architectural design, including “loft-like” guest rooms. The hotel will consist of five stories and 136 rooms. Also planned for this lot is a 2 or 3 story office building consisting of approximately 28,000 square feet, which would be located just east of the hotel.

Hayden Ferry Lakeside
Hayden Ferry Lakeside master-planned development will include a Le Meridien Hotel, approximately 350 condominiums, three high-rise office buildings, and retail components including a spa/fitness club and myriad of high-end restaurants.

Le Meridien Hotel at Hayden Ferry Lakeside, will be a 183-room, 14-story contemporary styled hotel with a European flair. In addition to the hotel, 44 residential units will be built atop the property.
