"Leaves at the Lake" Program

Leaves at the Lake is a fund that provides for the beautification of Tempe Town Lake with trees, landscaping, shade features and other amenities. Donations to the fund help to provide a beautiful setting around the lake while providing citizens with the opportunity to honor someone special through their gifts.
The City of Tempe will select trees and landscaping based on landscape plans for the lake area and will maintain them. Park amenities are added as the lake develops.

With a minimum donation of $75 to Leaves at the Lake, the name of a person to be honored will be inscribed on one of the leaves on the Tree of Life, a sculpture by noted Arizona artist, Marilyn Zwak. All donors will receive a certificate of appreciation with the name of the person you honor.  Application Form: Send application with fee to City of Tempe / Rio Salado, Leaves at the Lake, P.O. Box 5002, Tempe, AZ 85280. For more information call Town Lake Operations Center at (480) 858-2188.
