Students learn about Automated External Defibrillators (AED), signs of a heart attack, stroke, and foreign-body airway obstruction. The course includes instruction on: adult and pediatric CPR, mouth to mask techniques, bag valve mask use, foreign-body airway obstruction, two-rescuer CPR, use of barrier devices, stroke and AED use.
