Objectives for the Information Technology Division

1.      Provide cost-effective support for existing technological platforms.

3.      Create and maintain repositories for the City’s data that are secure, responsive, accessible and recoverable; provide for disaster recovery and business continuity.

4.      Provide secure processing of the City’s data and protection of sensitive information.

5.      Provide cost-effective training to City employees for enterprise applications.

6.      Provide an effective single point of contact for City employees to resolve computer-based needs related to software, hardware, telephone and network resources.

7.      Maintain a robust and dependable organization-wide computer network and unified communication system, including a public safety communications network.

8.       Provide efficient mail distribution and duplicating functions.
