The Tardeada Advisory Board advises the City Council and assists the Diversity Office on the Tardeada reception and celebration; collaborates with the Tempe Historical Museum regarding Hispanic oral histories and exhibits; assists in coordinating Tempe’s family albums; and serves as a resource to other City departments and entities on Tempe’s Hispanic heritage.
The Board is composed of fifteen (15) members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council for a term of three years. Members must be Tempe residents. The Board typically meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m., in the Tempe Public Library, 3500 South Rural Road, Tempe. (City Code, Chapter 2, Article V, Division 16)
