The Tardeada Advisory Board advises the City Council and assists the Diversity Manager or designee on the Tardeada reception and celebration, collaborates with the Tempe Historical Museum regarding Hispanic oral histories and exhibits, assists in coordinating Tempe’s family albums, and serves as a resource to other City departments and entities on Tempe’s Hispanic heritage. (City Code Chapter 2, Art. V, Div. 16)
The Board is composed of fifteen (15) members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the members of the City Council for a term of three years. Members must be Tempe residents.
