The Procurement Division of the City of Tempe, operating under the Finance and Technology Department, manages the flow of all materials, supplies and services for the City with the exception of architectural, engineering and construction services. The Procurement Division is dedicated to the establishment of best value contracts for the wide range of materials and services needed to support City operations. Additionally, the Procurement Division will insure supplier compliance by conducting periodic audits of contracts established through competitive bidding.

To provide our customer with exceptional service in acquiring needed resources in a highly ethical and code compliant manner that encourages fair and open competition among suppliers while maximizing taxpayer value.

This prestigious award is awarded annually only to those organizations that demonstrate excellency in the field of public procurement.
