Tempe Police Department Accepting Police Officer Recruit Applications June 25 - July 9
The Tempe Police Department will be accepting police officer recruit applications from Monday, June 25, 2012, through Monday, July 9, 2012. No applications will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on July 9, 2012.
Applicants approved to move forward in the process will receive email or mail notification confirming the date, time and location of the written test and physical agility exam, which are scheduled for Saturday, August 11, 2012. Applicants are requested to check www.tempe.gov/policejobs frequently for updated information.
The seven phases of the hiring process include the following components:
• Written Examination
• Physical Agility Evaluation
• Panel Interview
• Background Investigation
• Polygraph Examination
• Psychological Evaluation
• Medical Examination
