Jonathan Gregory's comedy, although unique and different, has been well received by a variety of audiences from retirement homes, to bars, to theaters, to World class comedy clubs. He broke onto the scene at the age of 19, as a punching dummy in a Mike Tyson promo, which aired on Showtime. He later portrayed the victim of a crazed fraternity in E! True Hollywood Story Investigates: Hazing. In 2008, Gregory’s talents were highlighted on NBC’s Last Comic Standing.

He has been doing stand-up comedy across North America for more than a decade and brings a unique, funny and truthful style to observations and situations. Jesmer has been a regular act at The Comedy Store and the Ha Ha Comedy Club, both in Hollywood, Calif., and at the Tempe Improv. Jesmer directed, wrote and produced sketch comedy for more than four years with Tony Vicich for the troupes Organized Chaos and The My Studio Players. Recommended for ages 16 and older.

Comedy Series Gert The Joke Lady

At 92-years-young, Gert the Joke Lady is just getting warmed up. She worked with Paul Newman and Margaret Hamilton in the 1950s and appeared in a number of episodes of the popular television show "Route 66" in the 1960s. Recently, she opened for Debbie Reynolds and has been featured on several national radio and television stations. Don't miss this national treasure.

Bob Kubota 109 Tempe Comedy Concert Series: Bob Kubota

Bob Kubota’s penchant for dry wit, lighthearted sarcasm and deciphering life's ironies has led him to the majority of the contiguous 48 states as well as Alaska and Hawaii. In 1996 he became an international performer when he joined the United Service Organization (USO), and he now tours regularly with the “Comics On Duty” (Davis Entertainment) providing comic relief to American military troops stationed around the globe. Kubota has appeared on nearly a dozen comedy programs featuring stand-ups, from Comedy Central to A&E and MTV.

Russ Rivas brings to the stage a non-stop high energy performance of well-prepared material blended with improvisational expertise. Rivas started comedy in 1990 and headlines in Las Vegas regularly. Comedy has afforded him the opportunity to branch out into commercial acting and print modeling. He also is a national voice artist and has owned Laffs Comedy Club in New Mexico for 12 years.

These are the people your parents warned you about! The funniest, edgiest under 30 comics in the Valley come together for one night. Marijuana may be legal now, but some of their jokes aren not. Someday soon you will see these folks on TV. We just don't know if it will be on a comedy show or some version of America's Most Wanted.
