We are migrating to a new state-of-the-art, user friendly computer system that should provide for easier Library access.
Our computer system will need to shut down after the Library closes on Dec. 5 while we change to the new system. The new system should be working about December 11.
No items are due during this time.
You will still be able to check out and renew items at the Library.
You will still be able to check out and renew eBooks and eAudiobooks through Greater Phoenix Digital Library. Existing accounts with Digital OneClick, Freegal, Rocket Languages and Zinio should still work.
You will still be able to use most of our digital research resources. Just enter a current Tempe Public Library card number when requested.
You will not be able to look up information in the catalog, view your account, pay your fines online, or renew items online or by phone.
Library staff will still be glad to help you with all of these things in person, at the Library.
New Features, Coming Soon:
- Apply for a library card online.
- Receive text messaging for holds.
- Text a book’s call number to a phone.
- The Library catalog will be available in Spanish.
