These summer day camps are for children and adults ages 5-22 with developmental disabilities. Campers will enjoy arts & crafts, games, swimming, music, field trips, bowling and more!
Escalante Summer Day Camp
This eight-week recreational summer day camp is offered through the Escalante Community Center for ages 5-13. Participants will enjoy arts & crafts, computers, cooking, science, sports and swimming, as well as enrichment events, guest speakers and Friday field trips.
North Tempe Summer Day Camp
This summer-long day camp is offered by the Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley, and is open to boys and girls, ages 5-14. Camp includes weekly field trips and five sessions of themed summer activities including computer lab, gymnasium, arts & crafts, education, performing arts and more.
|Kid Zone Camps
Kid Zone summer enrichment programs are for kids in Kindergarten-8th grade. Flexible 2, 3 and 5-day schedules are offered, as well as full-day or half-day options. Camps meet in 4 locations throughout the City of Tempe and run from May 29 - July 26. Campers will enjoy age-appropriate curriculum and daily enrichment classes that include Spanish, STEM, nutrition, theater, arts and sports activities. Camp will also include weekly field trips and special events. Kid Zone is DHS licensed and DES certified.
Hoop Stars Basketball Camps
These four-day camps are offered in June and July for 1st -12th grade boys and girls, including specialty camps for shooting and offense. Camps will be taught by Coaches Sammy Duane Sr. and Sammy Duane Jr. and held at Corona del Sol High School.
Girls Volleyball Camps
Four-day camps are offered for 4th-12th grade girls, including skills camps for beginning players and specialty competition camps for experienced athletes. Camps will be taught by Tempe Union High School District volleyball coaches.
Youth athletes ages 3-8 can develop their skills in a variety of sports including baseball, basketball, soccer, dodgeball and floor hockey! Camps foster an environment for participants to learn new skills and explore their inner athlete.
Summer Tennis Camp
Tennis enthusiasts ages 7-15 can learn the basics of tennis in this instructional camp which features group instruction with drills and progressive skill challenges for all levels.

Animation Summer Camps
Movie makers ages 7-12 can experience the ultimate in creativity with this hands-on camp. Young directors will have the opportunity to conceive, write, produce and direct animated movies, live action shots and special effects segments.
Arizona Science Center STEM Camps
Youth ages 7-12 will explore the world of Science and Mathematics, Technology and Engineering in this camp through the City of Tempe and the Arizona Science Center. Campers will explore all subjects in great depth and participate in activities including lasers, physics, animals, medical mysteries and CSI.
Young dancers ages 7-12 can enjoy learning fundamental techniques and choreography of a variety of dances including ballet, tap, modern and jazz in this week-long summer camp. Students will learn improvisation, partner work and costuming.
Children ages 6-12 can astound and entertain their family and friends with magic! This three-day class will teach mini magicians tricks using simple props.
All About Learning STEM Camps
Young engineers ages 7-12 will enjoy STEM-based curriculum as it is taught through vehicle engineering and LEGO construction. Participants will have an introduction to engineering principles, learn problem-solving and communication skills and have fun!
Rock n' Writing Camp
Aspiring musicians ages 11-18 will learn from Band Leader Billy Cioffi as he teaches the process of forming a band, arranging songs, songwriting in genres and more. Session will culminate in a public concert at Tempe Center for the Arts.
These full-immersion, language-learning camps are perfect for youth ages 7-17 looking to learn a new language or brush up on their Spanish-speaking skills. Camp activities will include vocabulary learning and cultural immersion, including music, dancing, arts and more.
Young campers 4-12 will enjoy a variety of fun activities at Wonder Camp. Wonder Camps are designed to provide the best in children's entertainment for summer fun. Camps are categorized weekly by workshops.
Young Artists Studio
Students ages 8-13 can participate in this month-long, visual arts-intensive workshop and have the opportunity to sculpt, paint, draw and create in a variety of media. Each season ends with an art exhibition showcasing student work.
Young Actors Theatre
Actors ages 8-13 will develop their acting skills through this month-long performing arts program! Young entertainers will learn about characterization, improvisation and creative movement, along with costume and set design, as they prepare for a final production at session's end.
