Youth Transit Pass Program
The Tempe Youth Transit Pass Program allows all eligible Tempe youth ages 6 to 18 to ride regional and local bus routes and the light rail for free. Passes are available at the Tempe Transit Store located at 200 E. Fifth Street Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit our web site to download a registration form, get a list of the necessary documents to bring and review eligibility requirements.
Orbit
Orbit (a FREE service) serves residential areas and connects them to local destinations such as shopping areas, other neighborhoods, major bus routes, schools and multi-generational centers. Hours of operation:
• Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every 15 minutes
• Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every 15 minutes
• Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. every 30 minutes

How to get around with TIM (bus, bike, walk, rail)
Tempe in Motion (TIM) provides bus, bicycle, pedestrian and light rail facilities and encourages getting around Tempe in anything but a car. The bus and light rail systems operate 365 days a year with peak hour service every 12 to 20 minutes. All Tempe buses and trains are wheelchair accessible and have bicycle racks.

Volunteer Opportunities
A wide variety of service opportunities exist for individuals and groups throughout Tempe for various commitments of time. Volunteers serve in Tempe government offices, programs and facilities while expanding and enhancing the services the city is able to provide to the community.
Adopt-A-Street, Park or Path
Tempe’s Adopt-A-Street, Adopt-A-Park and Adopt-A-Path programs help maintain Tempe’s streets, parks and multi-use paths. These programs are a way to coordinate year-round opportunities for neighborhood groups, community organizations and local businesses to continue to enhance the appearance, safety and cleanliness of Tempe streets, parks and paths.
