	Walk-in Wednesdays Open Mic Night Lobby 6-10 p.m., Wednesdays, January through May Host Walt Richardson is on board for a relaxing evening of live music from some of the Valley's best singer/songwriters. Artists vie for a chance to perform at In the Spotlight and in the Songwriters' Showcase. Enjoy food & beverage specials. Exclusive session for high school age and younger from 5 to 6 p.m. No Cover Charge. Sign up begins at 5:45 p.m. for the open category; 4:30 p.m. for youth.
	Green Revolution Gallery Jan. 19-May 25 This eco-friendly, green-themed exhibition comes from the Smithsonian and engages visitors by addressing critical environmental issues concerning the local community. "Green Revolution" is based on an exhibition originally created by the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, from which the TCA has been challenged to create a "Tempe" version. Tempe is working with local artists and organizations to create an interactive exhibition that combines the arts and sciences, teaching community members about "going green." Image by Julie Anand. 	Classical Double Bill Lakeside 7 p.m., May 22-23 Opera Revolution presents two, one-act classical operas. Die Schauspiel Direktor by Mozart and LaServa Padrona by Pergliosi. Witness the frustration and hilarity of trying to cast an opera, then the performance of that opera as a witty maid confounds her master. Buy Tickets

	Tempe Comedy Concert Series: Stand Up Gals Lakeside 7:30 p.m., May 24 In the male-dominated world of Stand-up Comedy, these women have shattered teh glass ceiling. Have a great night of laughter with some of the funniest females on the comedy scene today. Buy Tickets
	Tempe Comedy Concert Series: Insane and Sober Lakeside 9:30 p.m., May 24 These guys do not drink, but after you see them, you may want to start. Rob Sector presents a case of loveable miscreants trying to stay on the straight and narrow. This show is hilarious and appeals to young and old, sober and not so sober alike. Support these comics as they live one day at a time and hopefully do not die one joke at a time. Buy Tickets
	Family Art Workshop: Lisa Sipe, Recycled Collage Gallery Noon-2 p.m., May 25 Sipe will teach children and adults to make small collage paintings about the environment with recycled boxes, paper and crayon wax. Sipe is a professional graphic designer and fine artist specializing in encaustic wax paintings. She also is a hiker and fan of the outdoors and nature. Her work in the TCA's Green Revolution exhibition focuses on the Wallow Fires that burned through areas of Arizona and new Mexico, creating the largest wildfire in Arizona history. Free, no RSVP necessary.
	Childsplay: A Wrinkle in Time Theater 1 p.m., May 26; 1 & 4 p.m., May 25 On a dark and stormy night, a mysterious stranger appears at Meg Murray's house. Suddenly Meg, her precocious younger brother, Charles Wallace, and their friend, Calvin, find themselves in the middle of a fantastic adventure, traveling through space and time to save her father, and, quite possibly, the world. 	Danswest presents "Just Breathe and Tap On" Studio 2 and 6:30 p.m., May 26 Tap 24.7 welcomes special guests in a night showcasing rhythm, blues and tap dance like never seen before. Buy Tickets
	All About Dance: "Keep Calm & Dance On" Theater 6 p.m., May 29-30 All About Dance presents its 12th annual dance production. The group specializes in all styles of dance: jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, Hip-Hop and pre-school. Buy Tickets

	Mrs. Arizona America 2013 Studio 7 p.m., May 31 The Mrs. Arizona America Pageant is an exciting program that recognizes Arizona's married women and is the official state preliminary to the prestigious Mrs. America Pageant. Mrs. Arizona will join 50 other state winners at the nationally-televised Mrs. America Pageant in June. Buy Tickets
	Tempe Comedy Concert Series: Tony Vicich Lakeside 7:30 p.m., May 31 Veteran comic Tony Vicich has been making people laugh or demand their money back since 1985. As a national touring stand-up comic, Vicich has made crowds laugh in clubs and theaters in every state in the country and in two cities in Canada. His television credits include A&E, Showtime, MTV, Comedy Central, Fox and TNN (and a bunch of other stuff that isn't on the air anymore). Vicich has written for and guided the careers of many comics who have not gone anywhere and a few who have. Buy Tickets
	Tempe Comedy Concert Series: Kevin O'Dea Lakeside 9:30 p.m., May 31 Kevin O'Dea is the host of the wildly successful Comedy Circus playing at the TCA. See him leave the hosting duties to someone else and headline the show. No one engages an audience better than this New Jersey put-down artist. Most people hate it when the comic makes fun of them. 	Lakeshore Jazz Series: Cyrus Chestnut Quintet with Stefon Harris Theater 7:30 p.m., May 31 Virtuosic and playful pianist Cyrus chestnut's hard swinging, soulful sounds have become a staple in the world jazz community. Chestnut blends contemporary jazz, traditional jazz and gospel, plus the occasional seasonings of Latin and samba, giving himself plenty of freedom to explore different emotions, while keeping his music in recognizable form. World-renowned special guest and multiple Grammy nominee Stefon Harris, one of the planet's preeminent vibraphonists and composers, joins. Buy Tickets
	Tempe Community Chorus 2013: Spring Song Fun Fest Theater 4 p.m., June 2 The 100-member Tempe Community Chorus sings a varied repertoire of favorite musical numbers (Broadway, pop, jazz), from "Shenandoah" to the kazoo superhero number. Buy Tickets
	Miss Arizona Festival Pageant Studio 5:30 p.m., June 2 Ladies from all over the state of Arizona in seven age divisions, starting at seven-years-old, will compete for state titles. The pageant celebrates the tradition and culture of Arizonans and showcases not only the beauty of the ladies of Arizona, but the beauty of the state. Buy Tickets
	Animal Crackers Gallery June 7-Sept. 7 This family-oriented exhibition features animal-themed works by local and national artists. The exhibition celebrates animals from across the world. TCA is incorporating outreach programs and Saturday art workshops with local artists and organizations such as Phoenix Zoo, which will display photographs of favorite zoo animals, including Ruby the Elephant. 	Class Clowns Comedy Lakeside 7:30 p.m., June 7 Tony Vicich brings his long-running stand-up comedy show, Class Clowns, to TCA. This is the show where it all starts. Comics have gone from Class Clowns shows all the way to Last Comic Standing, Jimmy Kimmel Live and more. See the show that has taken comics from their first stage experience to national prominence. 	Tempe Comedy Concert Series: Hypnotist Pattie Freeman Lakeside 9:30 p.m., June 7 Freeman is one of the top-rated female stage hypnotists in the United States. Her shows are high energy, fast paced and full of laughter. The shows are age-oriented and filled with audience participation, music and skits. Freeman has performed at NBA halftime shows and was an Expert guest on Fox Sports' The Best Damn Sports Show Period. Freeman has appeared on numerous television and radio talk shows. Buy Tickets

	Tempe Comedy Concert Series: The Return of Chris Bennett Studio 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., June 14 Chris Bennett has been seen on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show and at numerous clubs and festivals around the country. His unique style of comedy has awarded him the title of Funniest Actor in New York at the then-named New York Improv. He also won the funniest Person in the Valley contest, the 2006 Southwest Comedy Festival and the HA HA comedy Cafe's contest in North Hollywood, Calif. Recommended for ages 16 and older. Buy Tickets
	Performance with a View: CONDER/dance Lakeside 9:30 a.m. coffee service; 10 a.m. program, June 18 CONDER/dance is an Arizona dance company composed of passionate people with common goals. Since its founding in 2003 by Carley Conder, the company has expanded to a strong group of unique contemporary dancers. Conder's work demands technical strength and artistic vision from each dancer. Each member is a creator in their own right, often being called upon to contribute movement material and ideas. Free
	Big Country: The Journey Begins Here Theater 7:30 p.m., June 18 Scottish 80s band Big Country promotes its first album in 14 years with founding member Bruce Watson at the helm. The band broke massively worldwide with the release of the album's classic singles Fields of Fire, Chance and signature song In a Big Country, which sold more than two million copies and driving The Crossing to three Grammy® nominations.
