Street restrictions and bus detours for Color Run Event
The 2013 Color Run will be held Jan. 26 at Tempe Beach Park in downtown Tempe. As a result, the following streets will be closed or restricted and buses detoured.
Street restrictions and closures for Jan. 26 from approximately 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
• Rural Road will be restricted to one lane southbound between Loop 202 and Rio Salado Parkway.
• Mill Avenue will be closed southbound between Washington Street/Curry Road and Rio Salado Parkway.
• Lakeview Drive will be closed in both directions between Washington Street and Curry Road.
Bus detours will begin Jan. 26 at 8 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. Although bus routes traveling in the downtown Tempe area may not be affected by a detour, delays may be experienced due to the event.
Orbit Earth Eastbound: Regular route to Mill Ave. & Rio Salado Pkwy.; east on Rio Salado Pkwy. to Rural Rd.; north on Rural Rd. to resume regular route at Weber Dr.
Orbit Earth Westbound: Regular route south on Scottsdale Rd. to Weber Dr.; continue south on Scottsdale Rd. to Rio Salado Pkwy.; west on Rio Salado Pkwy. to Mill Ave.; south on Mill Ave. to resume regular route.
