A Public Workshop for the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Noise Exposure Map Update will be held on Wed., Dec. 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gililland Middle School, 1025 S. Beck Avenue, Tempe.
The purpose of the Noise Exposure Map Update will be to update the official noise contours for the airport. The Public Workshop will provide the public with an opportunity for dialogue with airport staff and consultants about the Noise Exposure Map Update. Using small working groups, this workshop will cover topics including:
• Gather the public input to the Noise Exposure Map Update
• The best way to communicate with residents
• The Noise Exposure Map Update’s next steps
The public is invited to attend the workshop to provide input and ask questions. The format of the workshop will be an interactive dialogue. Therefore, you are encouraged to arrive at 6 p.m. and plan on staying until 8 p.m.
