Author and Nutritionist, Dee McCaffrey will present as part of the Pyle Brown Bag Lecture Series on Thursday, October 4th at Noon. Dee lost 100 pounds and has kept it off for 20 years. She will talk about the foods that contain nutrients that many people lack, but are helpful in the prevention and reduction of age-related diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, memory loss and Alzheimer's, macular degeneration and inflammation. Dee will also share some easy tips to help you implement these nutrition-packed foods into your meals. Dee is the author of two books on diet and nutrition: Plan D and The Science of Skinny.
