Batting Cage General Information

Welcome to the Kiwanis Park Batting Range! The Batting Range, owned and operated by the City of Tempe, opened for business on August 6, 1990 and is entering its 23rd year of service to the citizens of Tempe. We are open year round except for holidays recognized by the City of Tempe. However, we do close when the weather interferes with our operating in safe conditions.

The Kiwanis Park Batting Range features:

 10 lighted cages with dual pitching machines in 8 cages

 10 baseball machines with speeds from 30-75 mph pitching from 45’

 6 slow-pitch softball machines

 2 fast-pitch softball machines, 40 & 60 mph 

 Bats and helmets are available for use

 T-ball area for the “little slugger” not able to use the cages

 Walk in pro-shop offering batting gloves and accessories

 General concession items: soda, candy, chips, etc.
