Tempe Town Lake Junior Rowing
Fall 2013 !!
The Tempe Town Lake Junior Rowing Program has been operating on Tempe Town Lake for several years. The athletes have traveled around the country to compete at a national level. This team is open to boys and girls ages 13-17 from all over the valley. The team is represented by many of the local schools and the athletes come together to race as one. There is no experience necessary and the team is divided into a Varsity Squad and a Novice Squad. Every year new athletes join to become rowers and increase their opportunities to earn a college scholarship. Generally, practices are Monday-Thursday from 4-6pm September through December. Please understand that even though this is a club, we conduct our program with the same rules and expectations of a varsity high school sport. We accept athletes throughout the year so please contact the Ryan Allison (480-350-8069) to find out more about the team.
