Mark you calendars for Saturday, November 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as the
City of Tempe, Public Works, Field Operations Division, honors
America
Recycles Day by offering a free, multi-purpose recycling event at the
Household Products Collection Center (1320 E. University Dr).
This will be the grand opening of the Neighborhood Recycling Center and Nike®
Reuse -A-Shoe drop sites, which are accessible to residents
seven days a week. Additionally, residents can bring their confidential
documents to be shredded and have their plastic bags recycled.
Tempe's newest member of the Public Works recycling family
ERIC
will be on-site for residents to tour. As an added bonus each person who
participates will receive one FREE Tempe reusable shopping bag.
