Welcome to the Fire Department

The Tempe Fire Department is an "All Hazards" type emergency service delivery organization.  One that is highly involved in incident prevention and highly effective responses to incidents that do occur.  Fire Prevention, Public Safety Education, Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical, Technical Rescue, and Hazardous Materials Responses are all services provided by the outstanding group of employees that comprise the Tempe Fire Department.

Tempe Fire Department was the First Internationally Accredited Department in the Nation.  We are fully accredited through the Commission on Fire Accreditation International. 

Our Mission:  We, the members of the Tempe Fire Department, dedicate our efforts to provide for the safety and welfare of the public through preservation of life property and the environment.
