Work at a fun filled place! The Escalante
Community Center is a multi-generational community
center located in Tempe. We are currently hiring for
Recreation / Education Leader positions. Employees are
responsible for leading recreation and education
activities for youth (ages 6-18); supervise game room,
gymnasium, and library computer lab. The Escalante
Community Center's general hours of operation for
programs are Mondays-Thursdays 11:00am-9:00pm, Fridays
11am-8pm, Saturdays 10:00am-5:00pm, Sundays 1:00-6:00pm.
Some special events and holidays will be included. If
hired, all employees must attend staff orientation,
meetings and work occasional special events. Pay rate is
$8.25/hour. Hours worked per week will depend on
applicant's availability.
Preferred that applicants have experience working with youth in an educational or recreational setting. College coursework in recreation or education or related field is desirable but not required.
