The 5-Sided Partnership

The 5-Sided Partnership includes the Tempe Officers' Association, the Fire Union, Service Employees International Union, the Tempe Supervisors' Association, and the Senior Manager's Group.  It is the collaborative process the City uses to identify, discuss and resolve issues. A 5-Sided Partnership ensures that all key employee stakeholders have a voice and a seat at the table. The latest addition of creating the Tempe Supervisors' Council addresses a critical recommendation of the audit; middle managers and supervisors must be directly integrated into the change process. The creation of the 5-Sided Partnership accomplishes a key inclusion goal.

                                        Diversity Steering Committee

The City of Tempe created a representative Diversity Steering Committee to develop the action plan. Most important, this committee will continue to work together to manage and support implementation. The members and the group/area they represent include:
