Assignments
In order for the Intern to gain as much knowledge as possible from the internship experience, we incorporate specific assignments into the internship program.  These assignments assist the Intern and the Internship Coordinator in tracking your goals and accomplishments.

Project

This Project is a separate program, survey, or project that could take a few weeks or an entire internship to complete.  It may be time relevant or something that lives on past the internship.  You, the university, and the internship coordinator must agree upon the nature of the project.

Weekly Reports

Weekly reports are an overall appraisal and opinion of your progress for the week.  They note your projects, goals, accomplishments, lessons learned, and so on.  The report should parallel the weekly outline that your Internship Coordinator has assembled for you.  The university, Tempe Diablo Stadium, and the intern each receive and keep a copy of these reports.

Internship File

The Intern will keep a 3-ring binder representing the assignments, progress, evaluations, activity outlines, correspondence, flyers, or any information collected along the way.  In addition, within this file you will keep a journal.  This simply means making dated entries, which capture the essence, lessons, and insights that you experience during your week.  This file will aid in writing your weekly, middle, and final reports.
