The Joint Review Committee is authorized by the Arizona Revised Statutes and the City of Tempe Zoning and Development Code.  It has been created for the purpose of reviewing and making decisions and recommendations on development actions in lieu of the Board of Adjustment and Development Review Commission for Mixed Use projects in the MU-Ed Zoning District.

The Committee recognizes the interdependence of land values, aesthetics and good site planning by promoting harmonious, safe, attractive and compatible development.

Commission members may attach conditions it may deem necessary in order to fully carry out the provisions and intent of the Zoning and Development Code and ASU Masterplan.

The JRC meets only in months when a project has been submitted for review.  There are no meetings in months not listed below.
