Tempe's Tool Box
This program will lend landscaping tools and painting supplies to Tempe
residents, neighborhood groups, or other qualified organizations to aid in
the maintenance of properties in our city. The
trailer can be delivered to neighborhoods who have 5 or more interested
participants in a neighborhood cleanup and left for a weekend.
Please call us to schedule the use of the Tool Box. Be aware that
during the spring and fall there is a high demand for use of the trailer
and early reservations are recommended. Call 480-350-8372 for more
information or to reserve the trailer.

Participation Requirements

Must be used
within The City of Tempe
-
Participation of
a minimum of (5) homeowners living in the same neighborhood

Participants must be a minimum of 18
years old.

Tools may be borrowed for a maximum of 7 days.

Each clean-up
requires a designated participant to assume responsibility for the
following:

Distribution of the tools

Retrieval of the
tools
-
Properly securing
the trailer and contents

Completion of
Request for Participation, including a list of participating homeowners

Ensuring all
waivers completed

Ensuring that
all equipment is safely operated

Ensuring that
dumpsters do not become overloaded or contaminated with prohibited
materials
The tool program operates Monday through
Friday, excluding holidays, between the hours if 8:00 a.m. and 4:00
p.m., and Saturdays by appointment.
