OFFICIAL TITLE:  Resolution No. 2010.10A.  A Resolution submitting a proposed tax increase to the qualified electors pursuant to Tempe City Charter § 5.02.

BALLOT/DESCRIPTIVE TITLE:  An increase in the transaction privilege (sales) tax and use tax levied by the City of two tenths of one percent, from a current rate of 1.8 percent to 2.0 percent, except for the transaction privilege (sales) tax rate on food for home consumption.  Such tax increase shall be terminated at the end of four years
