This project is included in the Transportation Master Plan and spans seven miles along Country Club Way between Warner Road south of ASU Research Park and Tempe Town Lake. In May 2016, the Transportation Commission provided consensus with submitting this project for a Maricopa Association of Governments grant. In July 2016, the project was awarded a design grant for $82,500. The project connects to several regional multi-use paths, bicycle pedestrian corridors, schools, parks, and major destinations, as well as to light rail and other major transit. It would include public art, enhanced sidewalks, shared use path and bike lanes, signalized street intersections & mid-block crossings, raised medians, railroad crossing, and landscaping.
